The sales are in and Namie's 'Checkmate' debuts @ #1 for the week with 253,000 copies.
She outsold the first week sales of Ayu's, Hikki's & Kumi's lastest album. She also already outsold Kumi's total sales of 'Dejavu' and next week she will outsell Ayu's 'Love songs' total sales. All this with a collaboration album that was pushed back a month
So much for all those people who thought Namie's comeback in 2008 was a fluke. 3 years later and she's still slaying the other gorls
