Probably too expensive. No matter how high the ratings are, they still have a budget, and the battle at the wall is going to have to be EPIC. Plus I'm sure the white walkers are expensive as hell, and they gotta make the duel for the trial PERFECT.

As much as I would've loved to see a huge battle for Meereen, if something had to be cut down, I'm glad it was that. It was, after all, only a flashback in the books, so they already improved upon that.

Umm okay about the last scene. Bookwise it doesn't spoil anything, aside from that we seem to have seen the Land of Always Winter.


In the book we are told that C's sons are sacrificed and one of his wives says that they become WW. Jon sees a WW carry one of the sons away actually. All the the show did was show us that what was only a tale in the book was actually... So calm your **** people.

Also I suppose this shows that the WW are living beings different from the Wights. And I don't know where people are getting the whole 'some WW are good' thing... We've been shown nothing that says or proves that..

I wonder if George is okay with Bran and Jon meeting up and the fact that Bran is captured and that people are aware Bran is alive. Because no one should know.

When Gilly was trying to escape with sam from Craster's, She was begging him that If they didn't leave with the baby; his brothers would come and take him.

When bran and his gang got captured by those ex nights watch guys, why did they seem shocked when they found out he was Jon snows brother? What do they have against Jon Snow? Is it because he is part of the nightswatch and they aren't anymore or is it something else?

The timelines aren't that far off, especially since he divided the characters over two books to narrate the same timeline for different characters. The tv show is just doing two books at once so all the characters are in all seasons and most episodes
