!! like sure they may not all be 'visuals' (their truly beautiful girls however) and you can tell their just happy to be there and seem to have a genuine group dynamic. & also even tho the name is a mess (Gugudan could be the name of a chinese monster for christ sakes), they somewhat pull it off and it seems, endearing in a way??

Going off the songs Seohyun wrote/co-wrote, I think she'll lean towards midtempo and ballads. I know she helped with XYZ, but I don't think that fits her. SM might push it on her anyway.

Nah, Why is under-performing a bit because its way too EDM for Koreans but we all predicted that. There are also 6 songs from the Show Me The Money tv show in the top 10 which is hurting her charting positions quite a bit, she'd be #2 and #5 on Melon without them.

Also she has like 100k physical preorders so She'll snatch highest selling female album of the year until SNSD release.

I think this album is pretty similar to the music she's always listening to in her Snapchats, so I think they gave her more control this time.

i just finished Taeyeon's mini & oh my god, there's not one single ballad on here and it's great literally non stop bops

the production is top notch (as usual) but it really standouts on songs like Why, Starlight, Up & Down, & Night. and i love how they dont take ove rher vocals, it all seems like a perfect mixture. i'm so shocked she went for this full direction but it suits her so well and i think im truly a Taeyeon stan now, she really did deliver a extremely great mini. it's cohesive (i dont care about cohesiveness tho. having messy album tracks can be so fun to listen to) but it all sounds true to her and her first mini.
the only song im disapointed by is one of the ones i was most excited for which was 'Hands On Me'. it might be a grower, but right now it's really underwhelming and doesnt really hit me like all the rest of the album tracks do.

but all around, it's a fabulous EP and im glad she homegirl delivered. whew
