Idols are seen to be somewhat cringeworthy/lame in Korea hence the fandom is made up of mostly teens and high schoolers - so because of that the public tend to ignore the visuals etc. I'm glad my favs Girls Day are breaking into the acting scene and earned themselves some RIHspect from people of all ages

edit: I remember that post about Seolhyun where her look was criticised, saying she looks ordinary besides a real actress

I think if a concept or art direction would suit JinE, their agency/label wouldn't have second thoughts of putting her as center for that era. YooA isn't even the visual, but she's the center girl for Closer so it's definitely possible. it's just that this year they're trying to push their proper center and visual, Jiho, forward a lot more. And I can't blame them. Her reign was kinda cockblocked by YooA during the Closer era.

I agree, though JinE was shining in the Windy Day teasers so I thought this would be her era.
Not the case it seems. But I think she got noticed more.

And yes, YooA did take the visual role from Jiho for a bit. Non-fans always thought the visual was YooA and not Jiho. Since she was pushed so much during Closer.

Arin's rise in popularity cannot be denied! She has some of the most viewed fancams in Oh My Girl too. You can really see their agency adjusting / changing it up to see who suits center the most. Liar Liar had Arin and Jiho in the chorus. That rarely happens in other groups and companies!
