It's my only day off so I did watch both This is the End and Battleship back to back. In the first movie, I liked her acting, it was natural and she really fits to be in a comedy flick. That slap made my day, really. She also sang a song there (a capella), im which she soinded really great. Unfortunately, her part on it was cut short. If only, she's there til the end, messing up with James Franco and co., that would make the movie even more hilarious than it is.
Onto the next, oh Battleship. I really don't get the hate with that movie. It is a really good one. I know it's not revolutionary but the movie, especially its storyline plus the graphics were really great.
I was expecting Rihanna to die, since I was misleaded here (in atrl), that she was only there for like 5 minutes which isn't true. In fact, she was there til the end. And damn, her role is just as vital as the main protagonist. She saved so many lives durong the course of the movie plus she's the one who manuevered every attack. Hence, I can really see her in action flicks. I will give her acting A-. This is not bias but she gave Cora Raikes life. She made it real. Her persona being Cora Raikes is raw. Also, her being in that ship with in which she's the only girl is symbolic. I like that the movie values gender equality. Now I really am proud of Rihanna on the facet of acting/movie. She is something. Battleship doesn't deserve to flop.
