I consider Eminem's as a whole a form appreciation.
He was born in the culture, he studies it and from what I've seen he respects it

Here, you are exactly right. Eminem could not appropriate hip-hop culture even if he wanted to, it's his culture as well and he also came with his own style. His rap was a comedic white boy rap when he first came on. It was interesting, and we loved it. I don't think it's appreciation, It's just what he does like any other rapper.
I'll over simplify this in an example I used before. If you like indian curry chicken, and tell someone you love indian curry chicken, that's appreciating.
But if you take that indian curry chicken recipe from it's creators and make money off of it, giving nothing back, then that's appropriating.
Why is this bad? Because we have thousands of piss poor people in these cultures doing this stuff every day suffering and not making a dime, among other things. It also hurts to see things that we were looked down upon for being turned into good because white america adopted it.
