Um, no they shouldn't. Sia is another peddling assembly line songwriter. I don't think P!nk would want to write with a woman while looking at the back of her head.
She needs to find somebody that isn't the hot producer of the moment. Go back to the sentiments she had during Can't Take Me Home -Try This.

She branched out with The Truth About Love in a lot of ways but the album as a whole was just like I'm Not Dead and Funhouse.
She needs to ditch "the acoustic song I do every record" (Love Song, Dear Mr. President, Crystal Ball, Beam Me Up) and the closing piano ballad (Conversations With My 13 Year Old Self, Glitter In The Air, The Great Escape). I think that's why people say her album all sound the same. Whether the music is the same genre or not, they're beginning (or already have) to follow a blueprint. As a listener that gets boring. It also takes away the meaning of a song like "Beam Me Up" when you think of it as The Truth About Love's "Crystal Ball" or "Dear Mr. President" being there for the sake of having an acoustic song on the album. It's not cute, it's not innovative and it's not emotionally touching.
I would also say that her album need a tighter cohesion. "Here Comes The Weekend" had NO place on The Truth About Love. Not only was it a letdown with a lackluster turn from Eminem, it completely clashed with every other song on the album both in lyrical content and the music. It sticks out like a sore thumb.
Also, she needs to make ONE great album. The Truth About Love has 3 different versions: Standard, Target Deluxe and iTunes Deluxe. Aside from the fact that you have to visit up to two different retailers to get all 3 versions, having them apart like that takes away from the album's story and legacy. If somebody just bought the iTunes version and they weren't aware of the Target version, they'd never know of the 4 songs they're missing out on or they'll forever think of the album in that one way. To another person the experience could be totally different. Adele didn't need several versions to be successful. It was one standard album and it connected with people. M!ssundaztood didn't need it either. 1 album, 14 great songs and the rest was history.
Finally, if she's going to neglect the album's era when the tour starts, she needs to plan better and do some videos before starting the tour. Nothing will kill a single's chances on the charts like a bum video.
Ooops, actually finally, she needs to NOT do a crappy black and white video for her lead single next time. I don't know if Dave Myers is ready to retire or was just smoking crack that day but I do know Blow Me (One Last Kiss) wasted a lot of hair and makeup time that day. To this day, BMOLK barely has 50 million views and the colored version still isn't past 5 million. Horribly executed first single. Hopefully her and her team make a killer video for the first single. With more and more music videos getting closer to one billion views, it's essential to have a great video

agreed on all points.
the magic in her collabs always was -- and she said it herself back in the day -- that she doesn't want to go with what's hot and people that might be established in one genre so she can turn it all upside down and see what they come up with together. but this was so long ago. i wished she had that fire back. the fire to actually create something worthwhile and timeless.
i honestly don't think i can add something right now to what you wrote. it's pretty much what i am thinking when i'm thinking of her future music career.
let's just hope nothing gets as stale as it is now and that she will be able to connect to her pre-2006 spirit.
and yeah, please no sia collab. she can keep working for the likes of rihanna and such.
