26 million views for this!?!?!? The state of J-pop makes me want to cry. AKB48 really represents what the stereotypical Japanese artist is in the mind of foreigners. I find it revolting and irresistible at the same time. I was planning on coming in here and bitching about how crappy music is selling well in Japan but after watching it again, I can really see why people are drawn in by this. It is truly catchy, it makes me unbelievably happy, and it makes me want to google the lyrics and sing-along. I don't even mind that the video is basically soft core **** in disguise. My god, I need to download this song now.

Yes, I really can't stand AKB48. Their only good songs are "Sakura no ki ni Naro", "Beginner" & "Ponytail to chouchou". They really represent everything that is wrong with the JPop industry at the moment. They and Arashi are ruining everything... Solo JPop singers are so irrelevant right now...

The worst part about their cheesy and shallow music is their music videos which are just plain painful to watch. It's like watching Card Captors combined with soft-core **** (as Newt said). Their image is SO kawaii it makes me cringe all the time. I can't wait for this AKB48 mania to fade in 2-4 years. Just look at what happened to Morning Musume after 2003...
