Another 'Sex Yeah' fan here, I love that demo and was made up to see it had made the deluxe edition. I agree the chorus needs work but it sounded like an early demo so I'm sure it's alot different now. I LOVE Living Dead too, sounds like a potential single to me? Aswell as Power & Control, that's the song I'm looking for ward to hearing most.. and Starring Role.. and Teen Idle. Ok maybe just all of them

Wow, seems like Teen Idle is one of the most anticipated album track. Most people who heard the album loved that song.
AN ALBUM REVIEW OF ‘ELECTRA HEART’ BY ‘MARINA & THE DIAMONDS’

We got a little hint with ‘Primadonna’ even before we were able to review the full album. ‘Electra Heart’ by ‘Marina & the Diamonds’ has some interested collaborations. For example they have worked with a producer who has helped to promote the careers of Katy Perry and Britney Spears. The work of Dr. Luke is very much in evidence as you listen to the pieces. The official release date is the 16th of April. What has this group been able to achieve in the album.
For some reason ‘Electra Heart’ by ‘Marina & the Diamonds’ has been chopped up into bits so that you are supposed to be dealing with multiple release dates. Why don’t they select a good day in April and release the lot? On the 16th we have the first release and then there will be another on the 30th of April. Anyway this is a follow-up to the debut record ‘The Family Jewels’ which made it to the stands in 2010. The latest album contains 12 tracks but three of them have already been released online. We can tell a lot about the overall work by listening to ‘Homewrecker‘, ‘Starring Role’ and ‘Fear & Loathing’. The consensus is fairly optimistic about the band and the music that they are producing. Unfortunately the album does not include the single ‘Radioactive’ despite the fact that it had become almost iconic in these parts.
We were taken aback by the strength of ‘Bubblegum Bitch’ but this fits in with the image of the singer as someone that does not want to be pigeonholed into the Adele mould. The presentation of ‘Lies’ is bitter and poignant while you get a reflective mood in ‘The State of Dreaming‘. You do not need a teleprompter to guide you through ‘Power and Control‘. The vocal capabilities are enormous but there is a tendency to lose control on certain key points. I have to say that I am optimistic about ‘Teen Idle’. Many people are not yet fully familiar with the artist but it is certain that they will love her once they listen to her music. This album is a great introduction.
It is refreshing to see musicians who are willing to do something that is outside conventional wisdom. If it works then this is going to be a very rich lady. The lack of control in certain parts detracts from the otherwise powerful vocal presentation.
And how there are 'many collaborations' and yet they only talk about Luke.
