Honestly, it's such an anthem. The verses are so specific and defined, while the chorus is simple and catchy as hell. It was a top 20 on radio waiting to happen.
I know right! I was literally screaming that song a little while ago.
I can't believe that she came to dubai without me knowing
when the hell did she though??
Yeah that's cool! I never heard about that. Hate when I find out about things like this and I didn't know they happened! or when I see Hilary hanging out with someone and I don't know who they are. It's the same frustrated feeling lol.

I'm sorry but the shrines in my room don't come down and my collection... if it's out of place I can tell even if i'm not in the room ...
wait maybe this makes my life look sad...
I'm so the opposite. I was like that when I was younger. Everything on display, hundreds of posters in my room. But I just felt like I grew out of it. I do feel "too old" for it, not that you're ever too old for anything but I just didn't desire it anymore. Lot's of posters look messy and cluttered to me and I just didn't want that in my room anymore. Right now I just have one poster of her on my wall and I feel like "less is more" because it's definitely the focal point of my room. I also have my Hilary autograph framed and out in my living room, and a few of my polaroids with her are in a frame in my bedroom but that's really all I have for Hilary stuff "on display". My Hilary love is in my heart, not my walls.

Cheaper By The Dozen 1 & 2
The movies are so boring, cheesy, and there's barely any Hilary in it. Her acting is awful in both of them too. Especially the first. We've seen her do much better and we know she can. Didn't seem like she put much of herself into the roles. Especially CBTD 2. She was on tour and so busy with so much stuff, she had to squeeze filming inbetween her crazy schedule and they barely had her in the film for that reason. Confession: I only had the endurance to sit through CBTD 1 once, and I have not seen CBTD 2 in it's entirety. I caught the end of it on TV once, and then the beginning of it on TV a while later. It's the only Hilary movie I didn't rush to see in theatres or buy when the dvd came out. It's so damn boring. Both of them are. Hilary barely makes it worth the pain.

CBTD2 slays me to this day. The way the queen kept popping up from time to time, looking disheveled and frail as hell compared to the others had me scared but fascinated at the same time.
Yeah I actually caught a few minutes of CBTD2 on tv a few weeks ago (couldn't stand more than that lol) and it shocked me to see Hilary so thin. I guess I was kind of used to it at the time, but it's surprising to look back and see it. I was also going through some eating issues of my own at that time too so I found Hilary's skeletor look to be admirable.
Also slightly OT, but it CBTD2 reminded me of this. At the beginning of the movie there is a big ass graduation party for Lorraine. I remember seeing graduation party's on Laguna Beach too. I hear some of my American friends talk about it and I'm starting to think that "graduation parties" are a total American thing. Is that like normal for every kid when they graduate? To have a whole party for it? Any Canadians do that? I didn't and a certainly don't remember any friends having one. I mean I had dinner with my family before my grad convocation and they gave me some gifts and stuff, but not a full on party!
I agree with most of you, I wish Hilary had never done Material Girls, the movie was just dumb and cheesy, there's only a few funny scenes which make the movie beareable, but overall is a bad bad movie

Where are you from? In the US, graduation parties are a huge thing.
But I didn't have one, for high school or college. I'm too nerdy

Am I the only one who really enjoyed Material Girls? I loved it. It surprised me. It was just fun, light and entertaining. If you don't take the movie seriously... at all... it's a good watch lol. Plus it has one of the most iconic Hilary moments ever.... dancing around in those shoes lol.

Canada. So similar to the states but so different in a lot of ways too. It's interesting.

I liked Material Girls for being a cheesy chick flick. It's fun when you're in the right mood.
And right, I think we discussed this. I have family in Vancouver

I don't know man the movie is just so bad
the only EPIC scene of her in that movie is this one
And she singlehandedly ended an empire that still had a lot of life in it.

I'm so sorry to hear that. I'm just glad someone stepping and stopped her from the craziness. She wasn't just sick, she was worn out from how hard she was working at the time.
I mean she went from touring, to filming MG, to filming CBTD2, while beginning a brand new album era for Most Wanted and rehearsing for the next tour.
