I miss the event so much The buddy candy distance >>>>>
(Although I'm happy all the Ghastly/Haunter/Gengars and Cubone/Marowaks are gone since I now have enough of each + their candies to last me forever I actually added a few new entries to my Pokedex today now that they're gone).
So I caught a Cubone, got 6 candies for it, then put my phone away to order lunch.
When I was done ordering, I took my phone back out and saw a Magnemite right near me! I needed exactly 7 more candies for Magneton, so I was excited and caught it.... And the promotion was over
Now I gotta walk A Thousand Miles.mp3 just to get the remaining candies
The event made me realize how overly long the normal distances are. I shouldn't have to walk over three miles to hatch a 5km egg or earn just one candy for my Kabuto.
Probably gonna take a break from this now until the next event.
Well it wouldn't be a 5km egg if you didn't have to walk 3.1 miles. It's what 5km is lol...
I'm gonna miss the candy bonus so so bad, but I was annoyed with the event Pokémon though, even though Ghost-type are my favorite. Now realizing I have to walk 3km to get 1 candy instead of the sweet 0.75km of the event really makes me think if this worth it.
After you get to 100+ Pokémons this game gets so so boring, it's like you have nothing new to do and we can't count on rare spawns all the time. And the gyms are so hard to beat if you don't counters for 3000 CP Dragonite and Snorlax, plus why do it just to get 10 miserable coins per day (like whats possible in my area)?
Plus with they taking down the tracker sites makes it all difficult. There was a Magmar near my house one day and I walk around the blocks and didn't find it and them it finally despawned, it was so frustraing and this wouldn't happen if they had implemented that tracker or if they let people use the one that were available.
The nests have changed now for the 6th time, and apparently Poliwag, Paras, Oddish + Nidoran's have become more common and zubat, pigdey, caterpie etc have become less common?
Some changes to eggs have been announced for Pokémon GO. From now on, Rattata and Pidgey will never be found in 2km eggs anymore and, in addition to that, Eevee will now be found in 5km eggs rather than 10km eggs. The reasoning behind this change has yet to be announced but we'll keep you aprised on all developments
