Her next album should be a 'Ciara' Part 2, but on steroids.
I just get mad when songs like "Backseat Love" and "Overdose" got overlooked. Those songs would of pushed her even further. But I'm still happy overall with this last era compared to Basic Instinct and Fantasy Ride.

Trey Songz (write & feature)
Jhené Aiko (heavy writing) Sevyn (writing) BOOTS (production) Rock City (write & production)

*Obviously not all of them (I wish) but even 1/3 of this would be awesome.

The Ciara era had great early promo. She needs to step her 'feature' game up a bit. We should know Ci is coming by the 3 or 4 r&b features she would have months before her album is even announced. She also needs a cover of a major magazine. Vogue, Elle, Rolling Stones, Vanity...some DAMN body. I've stated I wanted a 2 or 3 part wedding/baby special to air on E! or MTV. Also she needs to start interacting w/the few fans she has now. Maybe open up her own official tumblr w/ those webisodes she used to do . Maybe do a Music Monday and release some of the scrapped songs from OWA & the next era to garner interest. And pls GOD do a promo tour. The 777 tour was genius but she needs to focus in the US for now.
Sales, touring are kinda subjective to the album itself.
At this point of Ci stanning I hope for the best but prepare for the worst. So in that regard we'll see.
I 100000% agree with the stuff in bold. I think a promo tour would also be a great Idea, something like 777 but focused in the US would be real cute. I think webisodes are a great idea, too. Especially if she and her team aren't focusing on a special around her wedding/baby, they could do webisodes of her recording the album and release two or three a month leading up to the release of the first single and then the album. And the list of writers/producers you want her to work with is pretty perf.

Yeah. I think that list would help bring a fresh more modern sound & feel to her already smooth demeanor. Listening through her discography I realize she always incorporates a "dance to sex" metaphor in her lyrics. Not that that's an issue b/c it's representative of her & are usually cute/catchy, but we can't afford to become predictable.
This whole discussion was obviously hypothetical & hypothetically speaking he'd give her his absolute best.
Besides, where's your cool & trendy hipster list? Always got an opinion about what EYE want for fave.

You asked me on my wall what I thought about it, though.
And one of the purposes of this thread is to have discussions and share opinions, right?
But if you don't want me to comment on your posts, then I won't anymore.
Sound
A healthy blend of The Evolution's maturity & substance + Fantasy Ride's innovation w/a more r&b feel.
Ballads: Speechless, And I, My Love, Sorry, I Don't Remember, So Hard, Listen To My Song, I Run It...etc
Mid-Tempo's: DUI, Like A Surgeon, Sophomore, Body Party, Promise, Read My Lips, C.R.U.S.H, Thug Style, Ride, I Don't Care, Gimme Dat (slow bass remix), Tell Me What Your Name Is.
Up-Tempo's: Like A Boy, Bang It Up, Hotline, Work, Get Up, Heavy Rotation, Echo, Super Turnt Up, High Price, Overdose.
Not saying I want a pt 2 to these songs, but when I think of ballads, mid-tempo's & up-tempos, these are some of her best imo. I more so want her to work w/producers she's never worked with before. I think that would help her sound venture outside of the box she's often put in.

nnnn
Does Epic have a big enough budget for even 10% of all this?
You know, I'm really curious to see/hear how motherhood (also marriage) will inspire her songs and songwriting. Will she get more cirious and explore deeper issues?

She always has the right songs, she just never seems to pick the right one and her labels never seem to never handle them correctly.
It's all about strategy, the Body Party strategy was one of her best considering the new billboard rule, it really pushed her where she needed to be to even release that album.
