If she stops winning awards? If she stops getting nominated for awards? When she fails to hit platinum with an album?
I am really scared for her first underperforming era. We all know how obsessed with awards and sales our good sis is. I hope she does not quit when she gets to her first major setback.

She also said that she lives for writing music and performing in front of crowds who sing the words with her is the greatest feeling in the world.
Taylor is all about the creating of music and performing it. Those two things are her great passions. She will keep doing that until she gets bored of it.
I don't think there is much danger of her stopping for ages. She already has a big enough fan base such that she can keep touring for years just on her current discography.
Two great things about supporting Taylor as an artist is that
a) she is still young at 24, so she can keep going theoretically for another 3 decades or so, like Tina Turner, or Streisand or Madonna
b) she is a solo artist, so unlike a group or a band, she cannot break up.
Taylor's hobby and passion is writing music. She won't stop doing that. As she writes her own material as a pastime, she doesn't need to hire songwriters like most other artists. It is a lot easier for Taylor to keep going compared to other artists. Taylor is just on another level creatively to most other songwriters. Lana Del Rey is talking about having writer's block. Taylor is talking about being in a creative frenzy in recent months. As a songwriter, Taylor is unusually prolific at writing and unusually quick too.
There are artists out there who are labelled singer songwriters and yet they only have a couple of songs they have actually written by themselves. Adele, Ed Sheeran, Avril etc. Emile Sande has not written any tracks by herself but is called a songwriter. Gaga and Katy Perry call themselves songwriters and yet don't write any songs by themselves on their albums. In comparison, Taylor already has 49 solo written tracks published.
Taylor won't be going anywhere. She is like the female Bruce Springsteen.
