Furfrou is really good at Defense, with his ability. Attacks hardly scratch him to be honest. I had really fun using mine.

Anything that boost Attack or Defense and lowers Sp.Atk.

My ideal one would be Adamant since it's nature already gives it decent Defense and it has decent Speed.
