They are in a hard situation to begin with considering they have NO crossover appeal to any other formats.....and they don't fit on Top 40 stations that appeal more to the more Ke$ha/Locked out of Heaven "adult pop" crowd. A top 10 on billboard would be a HUGE success for this song....we will see.
Of course.....if they can get 200+ million youtube views then who the **** needs radio? (see One Thing going platinum and getting 200 million views with virtually NO airplay at all)
Michael, that's an interesting paragraph on Zayn. I actually read it in the opposite way than Jack did, though. To me, it sounds like the only thing that makes Zayn interesting is his race, and that in itself is a form of (reverse) racism.
Although I don't personally think it's racist to find him more exotic than the other anglo-saxon fellas in the group.
Danny, you're right. The way that they've written it is a little weird and like they're floating in the middle ground, rather than focused on a stance.
