Very true. Kats claim that she was so radical and boundary-breaking by having a debut single centered around kissing a girl but all it did was send a message to the GP that bisexual girls are only "experimenting" or going through a phase and it fed into fetishization of lesbians by men.

I only stan for Katy's music. So I don't care to defend her in that regard. Her past is extremely problematic and I'm sure she's taken actions to rectify them. Kinda like Rihanna lied to the media and went back to her abuser.
