It does. But I think what it's trying to say is there's a lack of Eastern culture in Western Culture as is, so having Zayn be so popular is a breakthrough for Pakistani and Middle Eastern people?

Michael, that's an interesting paragraph on Zayn. I actually read it in the opposite way than Jack did, though. To me, it sounds like the only thing that makes Zayn interesting is his race, and that in itself is a form of (reverse) racism.
Although I don't personally think it's racist to find him more exotic than the other anglo-saxon fellas in the group.

Danny, you're right. The way that they've written it is a little weird and like they're floating in the middle ground, rather than focused on a stance.
