Okay, I know Paul Moss kept calling them the BPI Awards, but there's no way because there isn't an actual award ceremony for them other than the BRIT Awards. The BMI Awards honors sales and stuff, though, and there is an actual ceremony, so it has to be them. I discussed it with one of the Daydreamers on Twitter the other night. A Daydreamer named Katey from Day One Adele Fans has contacted BMI to confirm this, but there's no way it's the BPI Awards because there isn't an actual ceremony for them other than the BRIT Awards, and if that's what he was talking about he would have referred to them as the BRIT Awards.

Since you seem excited about it, i remembered it from Adele's wiki page and checked.

And yes there is a BMI London Music Awards, simply referred to as the BMI Awards. Its awarded for "songwriters, composers and music publishers behind the most-performed songs on U.S. radio" (basically cormecial success based). Adele has won 8 and last attended in 2009 depite having won 7 of them 21 era. They take place usually 2cond week of October ......

Hopefully this is settled now .....
