Most criticisms of this album were ********. They either came from people who preferred her "rock" side over her "r&b" side, which led me to believe they don't truly know what rock or r&b are. If you say DF (the album) is better than Unbroken, then your opinion means nothing.
Also, the non-flowing argument makes no sense. IDK why people were begging for an album full of ballads and midtempos, nevermind the fact that most of the album is made up of ballads and midtempos. Then, they cite HWGA as her best album, which it is, which was just as varied in sound track to track. Both albums are pop albums consisting of songs from different pop sub-genres.
It kills me how some can stan for Selena's last album, which I also very much enjoy, but trash Unbroken when they're very similar in sound. IDGI.

The thing is the non flowing argument is valid, The first half and second half sound like two different albums, I mean GYHAB is an uptempo song and I dont see anyone calling that outdated/generic/terrible

I'd say Unbroken >>>>> HWGA as i listened more to Unbroken than HWGA. HWGA is GREAT, but only 2-3 songs are really outstanding, while on Unbroken there are like... 5-6 imo.
But Unbroken also has album fillers
so no it's not a fact, it's still based on opinion
i know you guys are gonna hate me for saying this but... i never got into world of chances, everything you're not, or stop the world the only song i didn't get into on unbroken was mistake. so for me it's Unbroken >>>>>>>>>>> HWGA

I can listen to all songs on HWGA and enjoy them. On Unbroken there are a few songs i barely listen to, but then again there are songs that i listen to A LOT!
