Personally I agree that streaming should count the most if that's what most people are using to listen to music, but at the same time I'd rather have reliable stats from a smaller portion of the population than the totally ****ed up stats from the larger portion (see: basically every chart since the end of June
)
And it's not really a "perceived" problem when as far as I can tell it's been all but proven that people are indeed faking streams into the thousands.
But I'm glad they're doing this
