Trespassing defines who Adam is and what he represents in the music industry. Given the right push it could break him into the mainstream and become a HUGE hit and a signature song for him and turn this whole Trespassing era around.

Now, while Cuckoo is a smash waiting to happen, it wouldn't do anything for Adam Lambert (the artist). And sure it MIGHT do damage worldwide but knowing RCA they're not gonna push it right therefore having another NCOE type of thing. Ughhh


Just be smart Adam and release whatever you feel is in your heart. Both are smash hits ready to happen and even though I'm not fond of Cuckoo, if it smahses ( which it will ) hopefully we get Shady as a single and I can see my kings Adam and Sam in a video together

I'm torn. I like both songs pretty equally. In terms of success, I think Cuckoo has a better chance of smashing in the US over Trespassing, but Trespassing would smash worldwide over Cuckoo.

Exactly! And Trespassing has better critical reviews and would make for a WAAY better video treatment. I think this week, he's gonna think about the two songs and which would do better for him and the album. I think RCA told him "one more single and that's it' or some **** so he's deliberating on what the fans want to hear and what the general public want to hear.

How about Adam/RCA release his new single, Cuckoo, next week on the same day American Idol issues a formal press release saying that he's a new judge on AI. Then the single gets an off to a good start bump due to the Idol buzz. Adam gets on all the TV talk shows because of the judge buzz - he gets to perform Cuckoo AND he gets to sit on the couch and say words. While Brian May is in Costa Mesa this week, he, Adam and Adam's people will meet and Brian will do a stereoptic 3-D photoshoot of Adam to be published in Rolling Stone, etc. One of the pics will be of Adam by a train, tying in the Cuckoo Crazy Train. More buzz! Right at Halloween, Adam's PLL episode will air. As we've already heard, it takes place aboard The Crazy Train. In an innovative cross-promotional move, RCA has already negotiated with PLL producers to use some of that footage as part of the MV for Cuckoo. The MV will have a huge built-in PLL audience of young teen girls. All of whom WILL buy the single, and continue to demand radio play, pushing the single to #1 on BB pop chart. This will fuel RCA's promo push for Grammy nominations for Cuckoo and the Trespassing CD. Adam will have two live performances on the Grammy Awards show in February, one of Cuckoo, and one with Queen (who will be getting some kind of lifetime achievement award that night). Of course, Adam will win at least two Grammys.
