FLO RIDA WHISTLES TO THE TOP
Flo Rida gets his second chart-topper on Rap Songs, as "Whistle" sounds 2-1. He was the first artist to ever top this chart; in the first issue he ruled with "Wild Ones", accompanied by Sia. With this new number-one, Flo Rida joins the club of acts with two top-claimers: 2 Chainz with "Mercy" (along with Kanye West, Big Sean and Pusha T) and with "Beez in the Trap" with Nicki Minaj, who is the other with two ruling songs, besides 'Beez' she hit the apex with "Right by My Side" (featuring Chris Brown). Minaj also logs the only debut of the week: "Pound the Alarm" (no. 15).

R&B/HIP-HOP SONGS
R&B/HIP-HOP SONGS CHART STARTS TO FEEL THE HEAT
Wiley and Ms. D heat up the chart by returning at no. 28 (they debuted 2 weeks ago at no. 30). But, why don't cool down the chart with a party on the beach just like Flo Rida does on the "Whistle" music video? (click the picture to watch); the composition volumes up 3-1. This marks Flo Rida's first number-one song on the tally (it is his only entry, too). Rita Ora and Tinie Tempah's "R.I.P." is more alive than ever, as it finally cracks into the top ten (12-10), Amen for that!, oh wait, Meek Mill and Drake's collaboration almost enter the top twenty (23-21). Conor Maynard is the only act that debuts a song this week, strangely, he does it with an older song than the one he's still charting with (hence its higher peak); the new entry, "Can't Say No" was released back on March 2, while "Vegas Girl" (#20-peaking; so far) launched on July 22.

MOST PLAYED ALBUMS
NICKI MINAJ RELOADS THE NUMBER-ONE HOLDERS CLUB
Nicki Minaj's album "Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded" gets crowned this week, so it becomes the third album to top the tally since its creation (just 9 weeks ago). 'Roman' is also the only album to have been played more than 100,000 times this issue (it got a huge 60.55% increase). The runner-up record, "Talk That Talk" was played only 99,857 times (up 3.64%, even though it went down one spot). Also, 'Talk' gets the Platinum certification, along with "Teenage Dream" by Katy Perry (whose album is fueled by the re-release). Here she comes again!, yes, is the only debut of the week, Demi Lovato makes it with "Here We Go Again" at the 65th position. The set is the La La Land-singer second entry on the albums chart.

BALLADS & EMOTIONAL SONGS
MATT REDMAN IS 1 IN 10,000
Matt Redman is the first Christian act to enter to the ATRL charts. He arrives this week on this tally with the Hot Shot Debut honors, as "10,000 Reasons (Bless the Lord)" bows at no. 18.
He also appeared on this week's Bubbling Under at no. 113, and could even make his entrance on the AC Music chart. There's a little amount of people on ATRL (and lurkers) that are into Christian/Gospel music, which made possible this feat.

COUNTRY SONGS
TAYLOR IS BACK TO NO. 1
"We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together", the mega smash by Taylor Swift skyrockets and lands on the mountain's summit. Last week's topper, Carrie Underwood's "Blown Away", gets blown down to no. 2.
Taylor not only snatches the throne from Underwood this week, she also breaks other record: Swift becomes the first act to top the Country Songs chart with three different songs, as her previous titles "Eyes Open" and "Safe & Sound", featuring The Civil Wars, ruled the chart for one week on the April 7 and April 21 issues, respectively.
This new record leaves Carrie as the runner-up with two songs, "Good Girl" and "Blown Away". But don't be sad, the total weeks the Cowboy Casanova-singer spent on the penthouse sum 21 frames, while Swift has only spent 3 reigning weeks.

TROPICAL SONGS
THE SIMPLE PLAN'S PARADISE
The Canadian band Simple Plan (along with Jamaican artist Sean Paul) enjoy what seems to be their paradise: the number-one spot of Tropical Songs. They keep extending their record for longest number-one run, as they spend a 7th week at the top. Shakira -who was dethroned the previous week- still tries to go back to the top, as she holds at no. 2 for a third consecutive week.
The only debut of the week belongs to a four acts collaboration: RKM & Ken-Y, Zion & Lennox, Arcángel and Lobo bow at no. 13 with "Diosa de los Corazones" {trans. Goddess of the Hearts}. This is the first entry for each one of the four acts.

REGIONAL MEXICAN
3BALLMTY TIES CALIBRE 50
This week 3BallMTY, along with América Sierra and rapper Smoky, log a third week atop, which tie the record previously held by Calibre 50, being three weeks at the summit. If the collaboration spends at least one more week atop, they will set a new record, being atop for four weeks.
But even if that mark could be shattered next week, on this issue we have a new broken record: La Arrolladora Banda el Limón de René Camacho makes the biggest jump in the chart's shot history, as the elevate 11 spots (13-2). The previous mark was a jump of only 8 spots, made by Espinoza Paz, who jumped from 12-4 on the August 18 issue.
