Labels don't release singles in December very often. Singles released during that period are DOA. January is perfect, November is ok.
I honestly couldn't care less about album sales. I know I sound retarded but unless you are Adele, you aren't really selling albums anymore. Look at Goodbye Lullaby. I just want her to rack up a few big hits so she can stops performing the tired ass Breakaway singles everywhere
Mr.Know It All could be her highest charting single on the overall AI chart and her biggest selling single to date if they wait till January to release What Doesnt Kill You.
Since U Been Gone was released in December and was her biggest hit...just saying
We need the album to sell well or we won't have too many singles...look at My December, it only had 1 official single in America. Look at All I Ever Wanted, it had 3 real full singles and AIEW as 4th but honestly they did nothing to promote it and it was like it never was released Both sold under 1 Million in America. Now with Breakaway things were different. Breakaway had 5 full singles with video's and all because the album sold 6 Million+ in the states. You may not care about the album making $ for RCA but if you want her to have multiple single releases and hits then the album has to be successful
About her singing WDKY @ the Grammy's: Well that would be big promotion for sure but I have a feeling that they want Kelly to promote The War Is Over there as Single #3 since it is Grammy winning material but who knows with RCA?
I would still prefer a Mid-Late December release for Single #2 but I would be fine with a January release too.
MKIA likely won't even be peaking until early November and after that it's probably going to linger around its peak for a little while. Releasing WDKY in November would probably not be in RCA's or Kelly's best interests. I can see late November being the absolute earliest that they would release it.
To perform at the grammy's you need to be nominated first. Since nothing from this era is going to get submitted this year for a nomination (I believe it only allows songs that were released before september). So unless "Don't You Wanna Stay" gets nominated for a award we can kiss the grammy performance of 2012 goodbye.

Believe me, there were a lot of Grammy changes that will take effect for the next show and the changes made the odds less that DYWS would get nominated.

Yeah, but Singles can over lap...Breakaway, Since U Been Gone, and Behind These Hazel Eyes all over-lapped each other. During one week, Since U Been Gone was #2 on Pop Airplay while Behind These Hazel Eyes was #3 on Pop Airplay. If the songs are good enough then WDKY shouldn't destroy MKIA
100-110 which I'm hoping for isn't impossible. At all.
HAC has slowed down a bit, while AC is picking back up, Mr.Know It All could possibly be at least Top 3 on those formats at the same time, I predict a multi week #1 on both formats. And on Pop it's gains are very consistent and will rise up eventually and should be at least Top 10.

I can see it being top 3 on AC and HAC at the same time but not on pop. It's rising to slow on pop. I personally don't think MRIA will go top 3 on pop. I think it will go top 5.
