I could be wrong, but didn't Aneesa get partnered with Robin in the first Rivals season for an argument in which (a white-boy-wasted) Robin questioned her sexuality and other things about her lifestyle?
I think that's when it was established that she was bi, though her best-known hookups are all women...
MTV (Canada) has been re-airing old Challenges, so I've recently rewatched Fresh Meat, Cutthroat, and Rivals. They're all so good. I get so into it, everyone is either amazing or completely horrible. And there's actual strategy involved.
I haven't seen any pre-2009 challenges so I can't comment on the likes of Coral and Veronica (I only know those names cuz you always mention them) but there used to be so many amazing female competitors. Evelyn, Jenn, Laurel, Sarah, Emily, Jonna, Cara, Camila. Even Mandi is more iconic than all the recent girls, and that's saying something.
That said we also had to deal with that anorexic bitch Paula. Laurel calling her out for bullying Cara is still my favorite moment in Challenge history.
Johnny, Tyler, Wes, and Paula are the worst people ever.
Also I agree that the cast for the upcoming season looks horrible. Oh well, I can't really complain since my favorites won the last three seasons (Cara/Jamie, Jordan/Sarah, and Laurel).
I still don't get why Sarah came back. They probably paid her a lot to reappear so Bananas will have a strong partner. I don't know if I can take another 13 episodes of Johnny's camerawhoring, hypocrisy, and misogyny so soon.
