AAY could've been a nice hit, but other than that, realistically I just don't believe that Hilary is capable of maintaining music relevance past the 2000s (and this ISN'T shade).

First week views prove there was interest in her comeback. Because of the awful single choice, they didn't translate into sales. Fans were tricked intro pre-ordering the song without even hearing it because we couldn't believe she was finally coming back... I have the feeling there was some sort of contract with Toby Gad that forced her to put out the song first...
People were commenting on how it was cute and faithful to old Hilary but today people are more into shock factor. AAY and Tattoo especially would have surprised people and AT LEAST would have showed some artistic growth. The GP didn't even bother checking AAY which was rush released like 2-3 weeks after the CTS fiasco (remember how its radio date was suddenly cancelled too?)... but it was too late. Hilary going on vacation right after didn't help either.
She should have defended and pushed both songs tbh! This is your ****ing comeback, OWN IT. Also this was back when she was making the record she wanted so what was her excuse?
