I think she did She Wants Me for a friend but I'm sure she was offered better stuff than that or Flop of Dudes... but she always picks the worst stuff (minus Younger of course)

I think she missed having that outlet and was finally inspired again. And I think she was doing it for the fans.
My point is, those movies were terrible. I disagree that she should take any role she can get.

Yeah well sorry to break it down to you but Greta was 9 years ago so...
Her last mainstream movie was Material Girls, filmed 11 years ago, released 10 years ago.
At this point, she needs to take whatever decent role that gets offered: indie, mainstream, made-for-TV, Netflix, anything!
The press might still report on Hilary Duff but she lost her real star power. She needs to rebuild the career she ruined by taking that long ass break but she's on a plane right now... definitely not for work

I completely disagree with her just going back to music for a "check." She spent a LOT of time working on an album that was never released. BIBO was a hybrid of the stuff she was passionate about and music that she clearly wasn't as passionate about.
And Hilary did have issues behind the scenes. It isn't clear with whom and what the issues were concerning exactly, but it seems to have been a mix between Andre and the label. The thing is, she doesn't have to fight as hard because she is filthy rich. And even if she did try and put up a major fight... She is the artist, the label is who is in charge. Look at Tinashe who is signed to the same label, her outbursts haven't done much at all for her career.
That last part is obvious, she didn't want to have to split Luca's time between the two coasts like that and/or she didn't want to split HER time with Luca (as she is separated from Mike) between the two coasts. She doesn't resort to nannies 24/7 like other celebs, so it makes perfect sense. She eventually did do it, but as it could be seen during the season two filming, it does take a lot from her flying back almost every weekend.

I kinda wish the same tbh. Her lifestyle is so RHOBH-like. Except for the fact that she is almost always with her child. I'm over it tbh.

Yeah, I think she wasn't as passionate about the songs she recorded in Sweden but why did she have to say her favorite song on the record is OIAM for example? or My Kind another time? She's very contradictory. She doesn't even know what she likes/wants.
The label sure has more power but can't Hilary at least fight for her "artistry"? You said it, she's flithy rich and doesn't give a **** cos she's got money... which kinda shocks me cos don't people still feel ambitious and challenged in their late 20s?!  She used to work so hard and inspire us, now it's the opposite idgi

I have given everything to her. All my stanning, commitment, defending her WHEN SHE ONLY SOLD 30K and I forgave her for EVERYTHING. She treats us like TRASH. I wish she never had Luca and had just released music. I'm done with this woman. As far as I'm concerned, she's just another D-lister who will fade away in 2-3 years. **** Hilary and whatever she does, I hope she flops and is forgotten. I'm done, absolutely done. She doesn't deserve fans - the way she treats us and completely forgets about us like we're just a speck of dust. We helped her with her career, we made sure she was known and we're just GARBAGE.
