What is it with gays? You meet someone, you swap numbers, chat away. You have plenty of the same interests and enjoy doing the same things and get on like a house on fire, then completely write someone off because your the same "role" under the sheets! Never stick around long enough to realise that being comfortable with someone changes everything. If your dating checklist contains 1 box marked ⬆️or⬇️ then your doomed anyway cos when that side of the "relationship" slows then your not left with much else.
