The britney fans are always mad though. You can't say Gaga fans are pissed because Cheek to Cheek part 2 is on the way when your fave will likely never release an album again.
Isn't XtiN/A releasing an album next year too? (Poor Gaga) Should be interesting to see how it does considering how she's totally and completely responsible for the success of Say Something, Feel This Moment, and Moves Like Jagger.
Britney herself does not even remember the earlier part of her career. I remember an interview where they asked about her 'iconic!" BOMT video outfit and she had no idea what they were talking about.
Robots are supposed to be smart.
I remember watching an interview she did about Britney Jean and she was getting the songs mixed up
This review of Britney Jean is everything that needs to be said of britney post 2004.

I want to enjoy a Britney Spears album without contorting myself through a bunch of justifications about zeitgeists while calling the highlights “sorta as good as ‘Toxic.’”

By showing us she’s neither here nor there, she shows us where she is. This feels like the death of the ego, the death of hope, a poster falling off a wall. Is complete disembodiment not just the endgame harakiri of pop music, but the point where it attains a weird, symbiotic suicidal wholeness? Is this Britney telling the cops she’s ready for her close-up?
Mess

Many careers have several, if not dozens of penultimate acts. This definitely has the whiff of the next-to-last about it. Breathe it in.

Gaga in 2019 (11th year): supporting role in an Oprah Winfrey Network series; An Eye for an Eye, a Cheek 4 A Cheek: A Tribute to Tony Bennett (released after his death)
