THE VOICE
After being introduced, the stage lights blacked out. A spotlight hit Kris, who was playing on top of a really long white wall, which was dimmed. He played a new intro, which got the crowd pumped up and ready to go. A ton of spotlights flashed on the white wall, as Jahan and Yasmine were standing up against them. The song played, with Yasmine started. The color of the lighting was white on the left (Jahan), and black on the right (Yasmine). When Jahan began to sing, the colors reversed. This performance had some light gestures of choreography, but no back-up dancers of any sort. When both joined in for the pre-chorus, the lights began flickering in black and white against the wall, as both flipped their hair and wrapped themselves on the wall. The chorus hit in and lasers started buzzing everywhere, white and black to the audience and all different colors against the wall white. The audience was in a daze, as Krewella were delivering a spectacular performance so far, keeping the viewers stable throughout their performance. During the bridge, they sang acapella with the lights shutting down, getting near each other. The lights then came back on during an extended beat break where they performed duo choreography, as the lights created many patterns against the wall, along with many motions. The camera showed Shakira with her eyes wide open and her mouth dropped, along with Usher smiling and bopping his head. Their performance ended with many lights gradually switching colors against the wall as both of them walked away to each end of the wall, the lights dimming down at the end. Everyone gave a huge round of applause, with the judges gave them a standing ovation. Carson came out to congratulate them and remind the viewers that their single "Like It Loud" is currently available on all markets. Immediately after the performance, "Like It Loud" entered the Top Five on US iTunes, becoming Krewella's biggest iTunes hit in America.

PEPSI COMMERCIAL DEBUTS DURING THE VOICE
Krewella's first Pepsi commercial aired right after their performance on The Voice, attracting more viewers to their image. The commercial started with the three playing at a nightclub, and hitching a taxi cab - the commercial takes place in New York City. The three of them climb up some building, as they can hear music getting louder and louder. In the night sky, lit up by skyscrapers, they go on a roof where they find a boom box playing "Like It Loud" and a cooler next to it. They take Pepsis out of the cooler and then the iconic "LIVE FOR NOW" screen plays showing little gif-like videos of Krewella within the "LIVE FOR NOW" image. "Like It Loud" is clearly played through the second half of the commercial. The commercial picked up millions of viewers after a creative performance on The Voice, which helped "Like It Loud" surprisingly dominate the iTunes Chart. A new commercial is expected to air by the end of the year. Also, the Pepsi commercial has been sent immediately to primetime stations to put on power rotation.

Justin's Fuse Interview
March 25, 2014

Justin stopped by the building of Fuse today, for an interview -- and an event it was, to say the least. Fans could not get in, but of course, that did absolutely nothing to stop them as a security guard says "His fans crowded outside behind the windows, just to see him do the interview. I'm even talking about parents attempting to bribe me money, all so their kids could get inside and meet him. People even tried to sneak through me, curse me out, and more. It was crazy, never been through that much in a matter of an hour". The show went on though, and Justin conducted the interview with Fuse. It was on his new single, 'Surrounded' and it's accompanying video premiering this week. He answered Fuse's questions, along with some fan questions throughout social networking.
Justin performs on Fuse.
March 25, 2014

After doing a special interview with Fuse, the star exited out the interview with an acoustic piano performance of his new single, 'Surrounded'. The fans, who crowded through the outside windows, despite not being able to get into the studio, went ECSTATIC. The fact Justin Bieber performed feet away from them, was enough to get them crying, screaming, and wondering why they were even able to stand outside. Justin did a nice and humble acoustic performance, despite showing some signs of being annoyed by the constant fans screaming throughout it messing with the audio. Justin even performed an encore after the interview went off air, a proper one for them to air in re-runs.

T4 Live Special
Taylor Swift had her own T4 Live Special in the United Kingdom/Europe today where she performed eight songs live in an hour long special. Along with the eight performances that included four from her brand new album and four from her past albums, Swift offered a good balance between pop, rock, and of course her roots that launched her into stardom, good ol' country. Along with the performances in the special, there came a part where Taylor took fan questions about the album. The special was a success for T4 and Swift as it managed to draw over 4.5 million viewers as an average the peak being 4.7 million.
What was the hardest part about creating Coven 13?
It was definitely either the tracklisting or deciding which themes I wanted to address with the songs. I had so many tracks with so many different topics to write about. Back in February when I was deciding the tracklist I was kind of in a fence when it came to deciding what went where.
You're of course in a relationship with Brendon. Did you find it harder to write you know the darker songs about him considering the fact you two are still together?
We weren't together the entirety time of I was putting the album together. We called it quits like once or twice before we got our **** together. But oddly no, I found it actually really easy to slam him in these songs. He's probably backstage wanting to curse me out right now.
Why did songs like 'We're Art' and 'Wishful Tonight' not make the album?
You see I know most artists put the scraps off the standard on the deluxe edition but that wasn't what I wanted to do. Those songs were in the final to be on the album. But the sound of them didn't really fit with what the rest of the album sounded like, so I put them on the deluxe where I feel you guys, the true fans, could enjoy them more. Not to mention, I really love the tracks and couldn't bear to see them not make the album.
What is your favorite song off the deluxe edition or Japanese Edition?
Can I give you one off both? Definitely Love In Retrograde and Another Day. Both of those songs were actually originally written entirely different than how the album sounded but we redid them and they are actually much better. Those two are definitely my favorites.
How do you go about choosing a single?
I really base how I choose a single off you guys. I want to know what you guys can connect with so yeah make sure to tweet me what you want as the next single.
What's Brendon's favorite song off the album?
He really likes Born Into Sin. He's all about that one.
How many singles will be released from the album?
I wouldn't mind releasing at least four or five. I've released one single so far so yeah I'm pretty much set for awhile.
Songs Performed: Sabbath, Daughter of Tragedy, Loving The Wrong Way, All Too Well, Love Story, We Are Never Getting Back Together, I Knew You Were Trouble, Swarovski

VEVO uploads, 'Surrounded: Outtakes'.
March 25, 2014

Justin Bieber's label; 'Hyped Music Records' is no stranger with knowing how to properly get fans excited for a single -- and they're doing so all the way, this time. They uploaded some outtakes, as in scenes that didn't make the actual music video, for 'Surrounded' to VEVO. The surprise upload, sent his fanbase in a scatter as #SurroundedOuttakes immediately shot to the #1 trend WW on Twitter, after Justin's official Twitter account tweeted "#SurroundedOuttakes official on @VEVO. Vid premiere is 2moro, on @MTV!". The full video will premiere on MTV's, 'Making the Video' tomorrow on MTV at 8 p.m.. Spotify Live Session + Interview
Taylor Swift was live from Spotify Stuidios today where she gave an exclusive live session of songs from her brand new album 'Coven 13'. The American singer-songwriter also gave a three minute interview where Spotify got to ask her five questions regarding the album and future plans for the album. Swift performed five songs from the album, her number one hits, Loving the Wrong Way, Swarovski, Coven 13, and Wishful Tonight. Spotify one of the biggest streaming sources in America, the live session will boost streaming points for not only her singles but the entire album that was uploaded to Spotify on Sunday. Two of the questions asked were which of her collection of six albums were the most challenging to make. Swift replied with, "I definitely think Coven 13 was the hardest and the best album to put together. From me scrapping it's original form to be just getting an instant concept in my head and making an entire album out of it. I'm reallly proud of the record." The second and last question asked was what were Swift's goals for the record. "The goals or goal for this record would to be just to get it out there. Promote it hard and a lot so people you know can hear my craft. Hear the piece of work I put together. No album deserves to be heard as much as Coven 13. It's such a contrasting album compared to what most artists put out today. I really love it because of that," the singer replied before she hugged everyone and left to go about her day.

KREWELLA'S PUZZLE SOLVED x NEW TRACK SNIPPET OUT
Krewella has launched a 'Never Wake Up' puzzle game combining Luck, Solitaire and Jigsaw over the weekend. With fans anxious to hear new material from their soon-to-be-released album, they kept trying to solve the game. After a few days, a Krew member in South Carolina has finally cracked the code! The prize for winning? Krewella promised to reveal a new song from their album, and snippet it as well. So they did, posting a snippet on YouTube and Soundcloud of a song on their album titled "Take My Hand".
Quote:
|
Through thick and thin, blurry and clear / You've been, my one true love / Through all the life I live, the happiness and tears / I wanna make you stay, never go away / Wanna make - wanna make, you stay / I wanna make, wanna make you stay / Take my hand, before I'm gone
|
The track features a broad, enlightening and consistent beat with synthesizers leading, as always. Jahan's vocals were showcased in the snippet only, as she sings the chorus. The Krew and other general public people have been loving the song, as they continue to await for Krewella's debut album, 'Never Wake Up', to be released next month.

VIBE NAMES 'NEVER WAKE UP' MOST ANTICIPATED ALBUM OF 2014
Krewella has made quite a name for themselves as of lately, highly concentrating on promotion in the United States and United Kingdom this week. However, the works don't stop there just yet. A global radio airplay deal and radio advert has been in place, as well as iTunes promotion for the Dance trio. With two songs officially released, "Never Wake Up" and "Like It Loud" - critics have been raving about them. And VIBE is just another stan, who has given Krewella's 'Never Wake Up' the title of Most Anticipated Album of 2014. They said: "With an extravaganza of color and technology, Krewella has not only proved they can deliver visually, but their tunes go hand in hand with the vision they execute. Their debut full-length album, Never Wake Up is scheduled for a release next month. With exploring sounds from the hardcore EDM choruses of their new single "Like It Loud", to a bubbly mystery collaboration titled "Border" - Krewella is set to show variety amongst Dance, Electronic, Pop, and Rhythmic. And with their live performances, they showcase to the audience that they are truly a group who brings their visionaries and sounds to life. These alone, along with great material released so far have shaped up Never Wake Up to be the most anticipated album of 2014 thus far by our readers." Krewella is set to have another fantastic performance, as they will tone things down on Jay Leno tonight.

JAY LENO
Jay: Tonight we are lucky to call in a hot artist in the business at the moment. Having a breakout last year with their single "Alive", they are back with a new single "Like It Loud", as they prep for the release of their debut album. Folks, please give a warm welcome for Krewella.
*Krewella walks in, hugs all around and sits*
Jay: Make yourself right at home.
Jahan: Thank you.
Jay: So explain this to me... what ever happened to you guys?
Yasmine: It's a long story. So... like you said we started finding some success with "Alive" last year, which was amazing. Then we left our label because the label was great and all, but we felt like we could do bigger and better things with another label. So we went to Georgie Skai, who we heard was creating a label and we ended up being the first-ever artist to sign with Revolution Records. That was great. So last summer we released our lead single, "Never Wake Up", which is also the title of our new album coming soon. And we performed all over the country, the single hit Platinum eventually and yeah. But after that, the label goes on a hiatus and we were dropped for the time being.
Jay: What did you do during that time period?
Yasmine: Well, we used to play nightclubs all the time so we went back to doing that and making some new music.
Jay: And what kind of music was made? Were you unhappy, angry...?
Jahan: Not really, no. I mean most of the material we wrote during that time was not as happy or as upbeat as what we're known for, but we were in an alright place.
Jay: So fast forward a couple of months later - what happens?
Yasmine: In um, February we got the call to be re-signed and release our album. So that was great. And we just released our comeback single, and we're here.
Jay: Did you expect to be signed back?
Jahan: Yes and no. We always imagined it in a way, and we hoped to get signed, but at the end of every night we were thinking it wasn't going to happen. And after it did, we were so ecstatic.
Jay: Did the direction of your album change?
Kris: Not really, no. I mean we changed a few tracks out here and there, and we're currently in the studio wrapping it up.
Jay: Being your first album, do you three feel the pressure to deliver?
Kris: We've always kinda been used to the pressure and demand. I mean before, and even during some of "Alive" we were just this underground, small fanbase, doing-it-for-the-hell-of-it-and-because-we-love-it group. I mean we still love what we do, but the adjustment to getting on TV all the time, getting billboards with our faces on it - it's weird, but in a good way.
Jay: You recently took a trip to promote your new song in England, how did that go?
Jahan: Oh, phenomenal!
Yasmine: Yeah, the people there are extremely nice and the shows were so supportive of our visions for the performances... it was pretty amazing.
Jay: Last question before I let you go perform - are you going on tour?
Kris: We have no idea yet.
Jahan: We would love to go on tour, but we'd have to see how the album does, the budget and the places that would take us.
Yasmine: But we are playing a free show at The House of Blues in LA tomorrow night, so you can come watch us there!
Jay: Ok, pleasure to have you on the show. When we come back, Krewella takes the stage to perform their brand-new single "Like It Loud", stay tuned.
After the break, Krewella were re-introduced and the stage lights came on. For the first time, Krewella had a basic performance planned with pretty much no production. Kris played on his DJ tables while the two girls expressed themselves well on stage. Wearing mainly black, everyone jumped around flipped their hair to the aggressive portions of the song. The audience gave them a round of applause, loving their performance.
