I had a feeling it would flop. The trailer came up before I saw the Avengers, and the crowd (which was pretty loud) seemed thoroughly unimpressed. The only reaction was laughter at seeing Rihanna in a movie (no shade).

It played before I watched The Avengers too. A bunch of people talked right through it and no really cared. Everybody got quiet and payed attention when The Dark Knight Rises trailer came on.

That prediction was made before the movie actually came out. Now that there are actual results of the movie's performance, the $26M prediction is more accurate.
