This show is quite inconsistent with the pacing. Idk, these chars didn't get good sendoffs at all. I felt nothing when Daniel died, which is weird since they are working off of real chemistry. That scene fell flat. I felt a bit more for Victoria but that end wasn't very satisfying.
She died a submissive loser which is the exact opposite of the essence of her character, maybe that's a good thing and it shows character development. Could be seen as poetic in a sense, but I don't think they exhausted her anguish as much as they should have maybe? Idk, but something is just off. A character as big as victoria, should have the most epic feeling final episode.

Also it's entirely implausible or that tiny gas tap to have blown up the entire mansion.

I have a question. Is Charlotte dead? I was wondering why she wasn't at Daniels funeral. I saw the flashback scene on when she overdosed but I assumed she was resuscitated and brought to rehab?

Revenge has prided itself on the being the polar opposite of predictable so it makes sense that some of the fans are a bit fed up with this season

What? No one would have expected Emily to reveal herself to the world, if anything it would've been an exposé from Victoria during a season finale. This season has not been predictable, and last night's episode is a prime example of that. And I don't think anyone ever thought they'd bring back David either but it worked out very well.

I'm not talking about WITHIN the damn episode obviously we knew Emily was going to reveal herself since it was in the promo from the week before that episode aired. T-Swiss said "fans are a bit fed up with this season", I'm talking about the season as a whole. No one would've guessed Victoria was going to commit suicide at any point of season 4 just like no one expected David to return or how no one would've expected Emily to reveal herself to the world. The predictable way would've been Margaux or Victoria doing it.

Season 4 has had a ton of plot twists, big and small.

Does it matter that this season had plots and twists if the delivery and execution of such twists are sloppy? And actually Davids return was a season 3 plot twist. So what have we really accomplished this season? A lot of meandering that's what.

I knew she was going to die when she got the chair. I think of it as a good thing, this season was either going to end with Victoria or Emily dying, and now one is already dead no point killing off the other. I'm hoping for a happy ending now.

And just my two cents - this season isn't bad, but nowhere near as good as last. But regardless, if this is the last season, it's a nice wrap up so far. The revenge really is over at this point. Emily just needs to get with Jack and live happily ever after with her dad, Nolan and his boyfriend.

No, she's not dead she just left town.
They probably didn't bring her back due to budget cuts or because she didn't want to return.
A lot of the actors are over this show because it was originally suppose to be a limited run series.
So most of them probably expected it to end a lot sooner.

I'm also thinking Charlotte could come back. Given the fact her whole family is dead apart from David and Emily, it could be nice for her to return and finally hash things out with them.

Victoria through hell and back? she's an evil character and had it coming.

I don't get why people sympathize with her. besides her kids (and even thats a stretch considering what she did to David and his daughter) she has no reason to feel like the victim.

sending an innocent man to prison and stealing his daughter's childhood/institutionalizing her/brainwashing her to hate her dad is like... the most evil thing someone could do. she deserves to be locked up for life. plus she murdered Aiden and that terrorist woman. Emily does not have anyone's blood on her hands.

Emily's revenge has cost people's lives and feelings but the only innocent victims of it are Daniel and Amanda and even then she didn't directly kill them.

Like I get she was trying to protect her son all that time ago, but she could have made sure Amanda was taken care of. Instead she went out of her way to make sure Amanda's life was a complete disaster.

wait that was only 3 weeks ago and the season has already been filmed.

I will not be happy if they bring back this brat to carry on the revenge, especially if it follows the death of David and/or Amanda. If Amanda dies, the show better die too.

No way is Victoria dead. The finale definitely has to end with one last battle between Emily and Victoria, especially since it's called "Two Graves" (harkening back to the pilot). A final showdown with Margaux or Louise or Charlotte would be soooo anticlimactic

They were very careful to pull back from the chair for awhile before the explosion, and all you could see was a hand... I'm sure it will be shown later how she planted some sort of fake there. Plus, I just didn't think her paranoia over Emily during the episode was in character at all... I'm pretty sure she was trying to plant suspicion ahead of time.

If Victoria really did die in that explosion, they should've given her a much more poignant last scene (shown her picking out her dress, applying her makeup, etc. since she got quite dolled up for a suicide attempt )
