are you serious? iggy had tons of hype and the #4 hit of 2014 and her new single, from an actual new album, didn't even hit the top 10. that's seriously bad.
and as i've said before, debut weeks for major artists haven't fallen nearly as badly as overall sales (it's not like they haven't fallen at ALL, but they're much better off. see: adele, one direction, and justin bieber with their lead singles, and one direction having their biggest first week ever).
i don't have anything against iggy, but we shouldn't be delusional. those first week numbers were a disaster. i'm not saying there's 0 chance it will have longevity and become a hit (although i seriously doubt it), but for now it's a serious disappointment.
