I was only predicting based on the numbers 4 did. Of course it depends on the music. However, if she was able to sell more than 300,000 with a lead single performing like Run the World did, I think she'll be more than able to match that number + a more. 400,000 is possible with promotion and hype. All the endorsement deals, performances and promotion confirmed so far are hinting at commercial success

Let's look at the circumstances that resulted in "4" opening numbers that were bigger than most albums by other pop girls.

- Leaked almost a month before.
- Messy management transition and her 1st time taking full control.
- No radio support
- Just messy overall.

Everything seems to be on the right course as of now, no leaks etc. Plus the VP of artist mgmt at Music World left and is now with Parkwood. Bey will be fine.

Okay,it leaked and it still sold 1.3 million..1.but she was coming off a huge era.2. "4" was well over a year ago,albums sell die all the time..3.she's doing r&b,so she can still be ****ed over by radio again.4. Didn't RTW have some great promo? @DG1 you are forgetting an important factor: 4 had hype from the IASF era.

But HEY. I don't think she'll do under 300K. I just hope the sales, chart positions and quality of the album + the singles are high and they probably will be.

Yes, RTW had great promo, but the fact is people didn't like the song, so the promo really didn't work.

Sales are down, but it's not that different than 2011? R&B sales were the pits in 2011 too, but "4" still managed to do well. And she can easily get radio support again. This is Beyonce, the most played artist on radio, the last decade. She needs to hit up some big radio stations and Columbia needs to push the songs more on radio, cuz I don't think they did a good job last era. Like I said, Bey will be fine.
