The fact that Younger does better in ratings than ABC Family (a more popular/teen-oriented network) shows like Young & Hungry and Baby Daddy, puts in to perspective how much of a success it is for TVLand imo. It's also on par with The Fosters.

tbh i think we've all accepted the fact that she is just plain lazy and doesn't care about her career anymore. the real thing that's holding her back is motherhood. luca changed her. and that's too bad because we'll never get the old hilary back.

I've always said that the show never held her back. We blame the lack of anything really on her laziness.
You would think that Haylie shooting 10000 movies a year would motivate Hilary to work, but no, she just wants to be a mom.
wow yes, I used to hate Younger (always loved the show tho) because I thought it was her biggest excuse to promote or doing music, but right now it's the only thing we have it looks like she is also done with movies

Luckily her screen time greatly increased for season 2, hopefully season 3 is the same as it's the only place we will see her working until Luca goes to college.
Can you imagine how different things would be if she released All About You as the lead instead of Chasing The Sun?

CTS reached Top 80 pretty much off her own name alone, imagine if she didn't waste her potential & released the comeback song we were all waiting for, All About You, instead. easy Top 40 with further promo & radio. But seriously tho, has she given up? Did she really release BIBO to shut us up? Has she failed auditions? Does she even go for those anymore? Is she done with us? Was the contract a one album contract? Does she really think she can live till 60 with all the wealth she's using now for shopping? IS THIS GOOD WORK ETHIC? God even her book trilogy had a US/International promo tour and she was pregnant.
