but i hope for her next album, she takes the lightness of BBIBO and the lil darkness of Dignity and puts them together for a fabulous record.

I agree. It needs the edginess & sound that Dignity has but with slick production quality like in BIBO. I am still genuinely surprised at how smart the lyrics in Dignity are. I mean Gypsy Woman? Such art.

Sometimes when I listen to BIBO I just find it hard to believe she recorded Dignity 8 years ago.

it took me FOREVER to figure out the lyrical meaning behind it and when i found it, i was so shocked. that album truly is a masterpiece in every shape and form of the way, like, wow

& same! like the differences are crazy but both albums are incredible, but like you said, wow

Haha! Most of the songs on BIBO are pretty straightforward (bar Rebel Hearts which is kinda dark, Tattoo, and Confetti - the metaphor that I still dont understand till now). But Dignity had really sleek and sassy lyrics. Nothing can top Dignity, unless a Dignity 2 happens maybe.

She might not be the best vocalist but she does write really good lyrics. So true that she's always lyrically-driven.

idk, Hilary was in a kinda dark place back then and wanted to let out her anger/sexyness. tbh it could happen due to her divorcing Mike and all of that, i'd be here for her trying more dark sounds like house music mixed in with the pop from BIBO. she could literally try anything and slay at it

The fact that Younger does better in ratings than ABC Family (a more popular/teen-oriented network) shows like Young & Hungry and Baby Daddy, puts in to perspective how much of a success it is for TVLand imo. It's also on par with The Fosters.

Both should have been singles but I think GW sounds dated sometimes...
