I actually agree with you here, when she went to RCA she should have gotten a new manager, new record label, new manager, new slate, new everything.

So much arguing in this thread wow lol. I don't think we can pinpoint exactly one reason why her "comeback" wasn't as big as it should of been. There's been multiple factors contributing to Hilary's lack of motivation. Some we know about, some things we probably don't, some things out of her control and some things within it. To argue and bash each other over which reason is the biggest doesn't seem to make much sense. We are all disappointed with the situation.

At this point (regardless of what's led up to it), Hilary is clearly done with music for now. That's really effing sad. One big problem with Hilary is that she has a habit of sharing ideas and hopes for touring, music, etc. even when nothing is set in stone. I mean since 2008 she's been saying she would be making a new album and that took 7 years. And every non-announcement announcement since she started recording has either not happened, or taken five times longer than intially planned. I realized long ago to not take anything to heart until it actually happens. So am I shocked that things have gotten to the point they're at now? No. I expected it quite honestly.

That's a sad realization to come to, but I respect that Hilary is her own person and she's given a lot of herself to fans since she was a child. I don't feel she owes anything. If not continuing with music is what she wants in her life right now, I respect that. All I can do is try and focus on the positivite and appreciate the wonderful music we do have and can always enjoy. I'm happy for her that Younger is doing well and I hope that continues. I really love watching it every week and it's a new and fresh way to connect with Hilary. She started out as an actress, and she's good at it. I think she has a really bright and promising future in this area.

Well he followed her back as well... and there is actually, because I was told she's returning to the studio in the coming months and that was a month ago.

Yeah if this is anything like the last era, Hilary is going to be giving us clues like this throughout. The fact that he followed her back definitely suggests that there is a connection of some sort and we ALL know Hilary probably wouldn't know who he is if there wasn't that connection.

I agree. If she put as much effort into booking acting gigs as she does shopping, the good sis might have more to post on Snapchat than random ass images with tacky filters.
