Her latest interview just showed that she does music because she can. And kind of crazy that she knows she flopped hard. Maybe if she puts some effort into promo things will be better

Part of me adores that she prioritize her job as a mother because that really is important. But then again, not to the extent of nearly-abandoning her music career.

I'm just afraid that she will somehow be stressed to release an album with disappointing end results. OR worst case scenario (god forbid), she gets dropped & won't release an album until she has another child.

It's sad how such hype we had nearly 3 years ago all boiled down to this. Bitch might have started a tour this month just like what she told us!

I think it's pretty clear that Hilary isn't making music designed to storm the charts nor is she too concerned about its lack of commercial success, she made it for herself and her fans, we've been whining for a new album for so long and I think that was the main motivator, to keep the fans happy and in a way thank them for staying up to date with her latest projects and if you take that as her aim then I think the album has been a huge success. It's a fantastic pop album that has made her fans very happy.

I'd say 99% of the fanbase didn't really expect the album to top the charts etc bec it being in the top 5 was already surprising enough (considering CTS as lead single, poor AAY promo, Tinder MV for Sparks). Its just that she gave us so much hope for a tour that in the end is non-existent. And the promo after the album's release too was disappointing. But oh well.

I get your point but I'm just grateful for the album, it came out two months after I broke off an engagement and it helped me process a lot of what was going on.

Not true !
At least that's not what she was saying at the beginning of this era. She kept saying things like "When I come back, I want to do it in a big way!" and she even claimed that she will sell another 15M albums. She also kept insisting on how touring is one of the most important things to her when it come to music.
