If any of the students are going to be killed off, I hope it's Asher. He's likeable but there really is no depth to his character. It feels we've seen all he has to offer. The writers making him an outsider to the current drama seems telling.
I wouldn't be surprised if Rebecca was killed off either, though. Will they want remnants of this season's major case to carry over? Especially when she exists outwith the law class and her relationship with Wes is hardly riveting now let alone in a years time when the plot moves on.
Connor has a lot going for him as a character with plenty of room for growth. He's complex and they can throw him into situations for both comedic and dramatic results. Plus his sex scenes have given them coverage. They'd be fools to kill him off.
I don't want any of the students to die. I think they all balance each other out and make a good team, even Asher who provides the comedic relief. If anyone, Wes or his GF can probably go away.
