Is anyone else a little disappointed with the zombies? I haven't seen one attack another sim yet. Once I got an interaction box that came up saying a zombie was going to attack, but I just x'ed it out and it left me alone
Oh, I forgot I had that one, actually. It's the only one I've have. I expected it to be better, I like the town you get, though but the one level buildings aren't a great feature.
I guess I haven't played The Sims 3 in that long I've forgotten a lot about it, tbh.
I tried reinstalling the core disk and the late night expansion, but the game says the disks are now incompatible. I'm operating on Mac OSX Mountain Lion.
Yay ! Have you experienced any glitches with it ? I have this weird one where when they go to work instead of changing to the work uniform they change to there pyjama's or nude. It's very disturbing.
I haven't touched this game in years, but I've been getting an itch to re-install it!!
I was a moderator for Electronic Arts for several years under The Sims series and also personally tested various other games for EA and Maxis. It was such a blast when the game and the community were at its peak. Now the community aspect of the game is not nearly as entertaining or fruitful. I miss the days where every new creation from a member of the community would excite everyone and inspire people to create amazing lots/designs/sims. There was a point during the beginning of The Sims 3 cycle where I decided I didn't want to keep testing games for EA - the expansion packs were (and are) becoming recycled. The content that people end up paying for just gets re-used for the next round of sims games, and they continue to make tons of money off of it. The game in and of itself is really awesome and pretty much never-ending fun if you're a creative person. The problem is that somewhere along the lines a major flow of creativity came to a screeching halt. I have high hopes for The Sims 4 and I really, truly hope that Electronic Arts will re-haul the entire concept and make it something special again.
I really just want to build a house!! That part of the game is so much fun
So I've heard Supernatural would be better as a stand-alone game. If you're a hardcore Sims player, it's really only a diversion; the features aren't something you really want in your average base game playing.

Wow, you were a moderator & tester? that's cool! The community was awesome back in the day, it went downhill a little after The Sims 3 was released. I agree about the expansions, they keep milking everything as much as they can. I especially don't like how they sell new interactive items and worlds individually in the The Sims 3 Store instead of putting them in expansions. I wouldn't mind it, but the prices are ridiculous.
I think now that Maxis is back in The Sims Studio we're gonna be getting much better stuff in the future, the expansion packs have started improving already. I hope Maxis stays for The Sims 4, I'm hearing they've got big plans for it.

I don't mind them, tbh. I mean, they are not realistic and all but you can turn off certain supernaturals from the Settings anyway. Or if you've got lots free time on your hands, you can use those new potions and cure every supernatural Sim in town.
I've set a few sims on fire so far, but I haven't done any houses yet. Being a witch is so fun. The elixirs are really cool.
With the elixers I thought the mummy curse one gave the sim the mummy curse & killed them now there's a sim I wanted dead running around town as a immortal mummy.
We don't really know, but I don't think we'll be getting more than 10 expansion packs, so I'm guessing there's at least 2 more after Seasons. Maybe more, maybe less.
