What that said, Lively believes opportunities are changing for women and she uses Clinton as an example. "Look at what is happening with Hillary Clinton, it’s something to be very proud of," Lively said. "It’s so uplifting." For the actress, she finds it a "bit upsetting" that "we have to be proud of this advancement." She elaborated, "I think whatever side you stand on, the fact that there’s never been a woman leading this country where there are women leading households and leading companies, is a bit upsetting. What makes people think a man is more equipped to do that than a woman? Nothing."

I like Bernie as a person, but when I read his issues section on his website, I can't help but feel he's just saying what people want to hear. Hillary, meanwhile, has presented more solid plans with inclinations of where funding would come from, timelines, etc.

I believe Bernie truly wants good for this country and everyone in it. With that said, I don't think he is the right person to put that into place. I don't think he is the right person to put at the head of not only this country, but the western world. I don't think is the person to essentially make the most powerful person in the world. That person, my loves, is Hillary Rodham Clinton. I think he's presenting to people this idea that he'll become President, snap his fingers, and we'll be living in candyland.

Right, like...
He'd have to battle a Republican run Congress and Senate. I don't think he's tough enough to lead us, and try to fight his very socialist ideas with them. They'd deny almost every single thing he proposed.

... as they will to Hillary as well.
It's not just socialism they're going to oppose, any liberal efforts will be blocked.

Well yeah, but at least with Hillary I feel like she would be more flexible with negations. Just my opinion!

...But Hillary has a better Congressional record and her bills were more readily cosponsored by Republicans than Bernie's were. Soooo if we're talking about working with Congress, then yes, Hillary is a better choice.

Like I'm here for Bernie until Hillz gets a little more liberal, but there's like no realistic way she's going to be in legal trouble.

We'll see about that. ![:D](http://www.atrl.net/forums/images/smilies/images/smilies/biggrin.gif)

I agree with what Azealia Banks said about Bernie, that he's super old and doesn't seem well fit for actually leading our country. I'm still rooting for him though, he's so much better then any other candidate.

Omg! Queen Maggie Hassan (Governor of New Hampshire) has announced she's running for Senate.
Quote:
Hassan joins Congresswomen Ann Kirkpatrick (AZ), Loretta Sanchez (CA) Tammy Duckworth (IL) Donna Edwards (MD) and state Attorney General’s Kamala Harris (CA) and Catherine Cortez Masto (NV) in the diverse class of 2016. Her entry into the New Hampshire race immediately vaults the race into toss-up status, making it a prime pick up opportunity for the Democrats as they seek to regain control of the U.S. Senate.

All Bernie's campaign is, is hype. He won't win off of 20-year-old college student votes.

I trust Bernie more but he doesnt have the power to put Republicans in a way Obama was able to by out smarting them or the way hilary can because there are certain issues she can win on by default...because of peoples view of her husband.

Bernie isn't even a democrat. He probably doesn't have the support of the elite dems. They'd probably throw out Biden to nip him in the bud (becuz let's face it, Bernie is also against the special interest groups that fund them).

The difference is that hillary has a record of bipartisanship. Republicans hate her and Bill Clinton, but when it came to working together, Bill got a LOT of **** done in the White House, and Hillary earned glowing reviews across party lines in the Senate.
Bernie is just pure polarizing.
