No. It WAS working for him in the beginning, but look at how everything has gone after Mirrors lost popularity. Tunnel Vision tanked, and the sequel to The 9/11 Experience never came close to the success of the first one with only a barely platinum single that had an overwhelmingly high radio AI to show for it.
And sweetie, he did ***** himself out. Do you know how heavily he promoted these albums? He might not have been doing desperate, half-naked photoshoots like Nick Jonas, but plastering yourself in every TV show and promotional spot possible fits the mold.
Also Madonna's "sex" book too. Her poor children.
