Can ART and POP really belong together? Visually it works. The aesthetics for this era have, IMO, been her best yet. Musically though...I'm just hearing a really wonderful pop album. She probably wanted to experiment, but that's noise is not gonna pay the label. Little did they know....
Well anyway, I hope ARTPOP II does a better job at balancing commercial music with integrity. I'd love some underground rave music with relatable lyrics, as well as more urban-electronica music.
