I have to commend u for that post in the RnB/ innovative thread. What u said about not necessarily needing cool new collaborators to grow musically really resonated with me. I was signed out thru/out yesterday so i couldnt post in any of the threads. I have to admit my excitement was slightly dampened when i read the bit about new music in her GQ interview not cus she said "mostly RnB" but the producers she mentioned. I thought to myself, this is the 1st we're hearing of this project from the horse's mouth and she chooses to volunteer this convenient info ? I was starting to worry but then i read your post and the potent references u made. I get it now ! Bey can absolutely evolve working alongside her longtime collaborators and we already saw that with The Dream's contributions to "4". She is not one to accept any wishy washy work from a producer cuz of his name. Granted, Timbaland and Pharrel havent impressed me lately (see Missy Elliot & Usher's latest releases) but for them to make the cut this time, i trust Bey's judgement. That said, im still hoping there wont be as much old school vibe on album #5 as there was on 4 and more upbeat bops por favor.

I think The-Dream is a great co-producer. He gave Bey 2 of the 3 most exciting songs on "4" (End of Time & Schoolin' Life + he co-wrote Countdown), so people shouldn't count them out as a team. They've both already made history with Single Ladies. There's a reason she keeps working with him.
The only thing I worry about is that Bey "forgets" about 4 and goes with IASF instead. But judging by her GQ interview she's not done with R&B just yet. I'm glad, cause that's when she shines.
Beyonce is such a good business woman. She knows that she kind of has to do a DC medley and if that was to happen, they might as well record a song to capitalize off it. You can tell she's thinking BIG this era.
Who would have thought yesterday morning that we were going to be getting news of a DC song? It makes me wonder what else she has planned for us. It's so exciting!
All we need now is more confirmation for her single, and even if she doesn't premiere it at the Super Bowl (if she reserves that for the DC song), I think that could still be a good business move in that it won't be in competition, but people will still be really interested and curious as to what her solo single will be once it finally does come out.
Also, do you guys think that her DC song will be a "Love Song" or will it just be an uptempo added to the mix? I have a feeling it isn't a love song, just because they will be performing it at the Super Bowl, and it's an unheard ballad so that could be a bit weird. I'd love a Lose My Breath 2.0 or something along those lines. That being said, it'd be silly for them to release an album of love songs and have the lead single not be a love song. But I suppose a Love Song doesn't really mean a tempo, but speaks more of the content.

some people...she said im been working with pharell, timbo, justin and dream! she did not say they are the only producersthey are probably the producers of the first single...or the majority of the tracks you can guarantee, Sean Garrett is on the album aswell as: jeff brasker, kanye, diplo, shea taylor Etc. she will obviously will have the ballad so that mean there a hight chance for sia to apear...
