not more socially accepted but sexualised, most straight people watch lesbian ****, even the girls.
it seems women are more accepting of gay men than gay women since they arent threatened by them on a personal level (esp if theyre conservative/homophobic). straight men dont accept either but since lesbians are taking away from their pool of women, plus arent interested in them at all, theyre doubly pressed.
