Yeah, now that i think about it again, Taylor is so suspicious. What if his background story that he's already dead is all made up? There's absolutely no way a dead person can just live a normal life like him and have normal functioning brain to even become a doctor.
I bet he's the son of that pregnant lady. The reason his body is cold is because his mother probably becomes crazy after her husband's death, and threw Taylor into the swamp too. But somehow Taylor is saved by someone there, being raised by her (?), and because he lived in the swamp for too long, his body temperature becomes very cold. And the one raised him in the swamp is that Hoffel nurse i think. They both work together
And one more thing, maybe her name credit's on the beginning of this episode even though she didn't appear at all implies that she's the green meanie
