The whole thing about Gaga being completley frontloaded and no longevity is not true at all though.
Born This Way was frontloaded and lacked longevity, yes. Because there was huge hype around Gaga but the music failed to deliver. Look at The Fame and The Fame Monster and you'll see a big difference. It all depends on the material she releases.
And judging from the snippets I think it sounds promising.
If it had flopped they wouldn't be giving Katy such a huge budget for Prism (huge global marketing campaign + it sounds like the most expensive album of the year).
