How y'all feel about zendaya playing Aaliyah allegedly in the new biopic?? I can see her playing a young version of her. But the grown up sultry aaliyah never.

Nonetheless I am here for the ****ery. I hope they spill tea on the r. Kelly thing, and her neglectful family.

Zendaya is rumored to be dating a 28 yr old man (and has been for like a year) so they seem to have a bit in common. Add that to the fact that they're both pretty but boyish and they have a bit in common. The facial structure is all wrong though, there is no way they'll get her to look like her. Isn't the biopic a T.V. movie though?? If so then I guess it doesn't matter.

Also there singing is around the same level and Zendaya is a great dancer so...

I thought Aaliyah was biracial as well Halle looked more ambiguous before her nose job. I don't think Zendaya will get flack for that more because she looks nothing like her and looks a lot younger. The movie will not show anything dirty it will be polished and make her life looks like a walk in the clouds while sliding down rainbows and getting peed on letting the rain from the clouds splash all over her face.

Aaliyah is still very well known among Black audiences and R&B/Hip Hip listeners, but she needs to be re-introduced to the White/Pop mainstream who were not able to latch onto her until "Try Again" anyway.
