Yep. And a lot of people forget that Already Gone was really the big hit of the AIEW era. Suck was her comeback but peaked very fast and didn't give the album any legs imo. I remember the sales being at 400k right before the release of Already Gone. The enormous HAC/AC success of Already Gone made the album almost sell platinum. And even though the Halo thing happened, it still managed to peak at #5 on Pop. Imagine if Already Gone was released before Halo

I always wondered how Already Gone would have done if it had been released before Halo. But still I'm really glad that AG was released eventually, I don't think Cry would do that well.

I think that Cry is a great song but it's nowhere near Already Gone and I think the song is a bit... loud? I don't know if this is the right word. They could have release it as another buzz single after All I Ever Wanted.

If I Can't Have You or Long Shot should have been released instead of IDNHU.

I felt like the sole reason IDNHU was even included in the album was Katy writing credit. Long shot should have been chosen as the single. Ugh I hate that even tracklists gets political sometimes

I agree with you so much it hurts.

The only reason I liked Stronger era more than AIEW era was that she gave so many flawless performances and looked better. She had some big events (Superbowl), found love and had her biggest song since SUBG.
I don't know but the AIEW era left some bitterness (in my mouth). The album is still better. Why is it still under discussion?

Speaking about that when will the stan awards be held? Wasn't it last year around September / October?

So yeah, they usually start up around this time. Kelly hasn't really been active, so I don't think it'll be a very interesting show, Base has been pretty dead.

I don't really have time to host it either because of school and I guess I'm not a good enough host because I ain't messy and shady enough for such a prestigious show as Kelly Stans Awards. Hopefully Kelly's doing something in the Fall, so the Base would be more lively and someone would host it. I'm ready to snatch the meltdowns award.
