They were all live, but had loud playback. All of her performances this era have been live, except for Come Clean and Confetti.

It's evident she's singing during her Ellen and The View performances, but I'm unsure about the others. It still makes me happy she finally ditched the backing track for the All About You American performances. They were truly a gift. On that note, could somebody filter her Sunrise vocals?

Let's start a new topic. Now with the new year starting in a couple of days, what do you think she will do? Take a break? record new music? This is probably the first time since summer 2013 that we don't have anything to look forward to.

I agree that Ellen was live, but I'd switch The View with K&M, only cause I could hear her breathing a lot and it was muffled, which I think was due to mic issues. The View & GMA performances sounded near identical to the Ellen one imo, so I feel like they used the live Ellen track over for those.

I agree about wanting the isolated Sunrise vocals. There was way too much going on during that performance.

Shoot a movie and maybe do a soundtrack single. What I want her to do is to shoot a movie and start writing her next album tho.

ETA: I also think it would be cool if she did a guest spot on a popular or critically acclaimed show.

The director never uses his social media accounts so it's hard to contact him and ask him about the movie. From what I can remember, the movie got a mixed critical response at the LA Film Festival, I think there were some technical issues with the film being done. I need to search for reviews.

The GMA Sparks performance was definitely the best, I just wish they had used a better background because it looked so damn cheap. GMA and K&M were definitely all that we needed for live performances of Sparks, I wish they had switched out The View performance of Sparks for a different song because by then the bump from the performances had peaked.

Anyway, I want her 2016 to look something like this:

January - Two weeks of promo for Younger
February - March - Film a mainstream movie
April - Vacation week + takes a label meeting to begin planning sound/look for next era and setting deadlines
May - June - Film a mainstream movie
July - Returns to the studio
August - Films minor role in a mainstream blockbuster + records new album
September - December - Younger season 3 shoot + records new album

Her not parting ways with RCA means that she didn't sign a 1 album contract like most of us thought. Let's just hope the next album doesn't take another 8 years.

In terms of them all being different ages, yeah, they are, but...Hilary is what, 28, but she has a kid and so much history in this industry that she seems light years wiser than her age. James and I were discussing release timeframes today and I suggested the first single should drop around February 2017, second single in May, album in June with a US summer tour to support it. With a lot of majors releasing in 2016, it's looking like 2017 could be a huge year for her music with the right push.

Wishful thinking: An EP of BIBO leftovers. Even like as a present for fans or something. And even would be if it came with that documentary, or if the doc at least leaks.

More realistic wishful thinking: She should film one or two movies, ones that will be big and will show off her acting better. A different kind of role that we haven't seen from her.

I agree, spring 2017 would be a perfect time for Hilary to start releasing new singles and her next album. I hope we get it that soon!!

That's pretty much exactly what I was thinking too. I agree 2016 seems like it'll be too bloated with releases.

A 2017 summer tour to coincide with an album release would be ideal because then she would be able to continue promoting the album through radio interviews and such (also tours help sell albums consistently see: Unbreakable). I need ha to begin recording next summer though. July 2016 - April 2017 should be enough time. If Younger continues to grow and she's able to be cast in some hit films in 2016 (that would release in '17), 2017 would have the potential to be MASSIVE.
