REGGAETON TOP
WISIN, YANDEL AND JENNIFER LÓPEZ THE ONLY LEADERS
Wisin & Yandel and Jennifer López stay as the only Reggaeton Songs leaders. "Follow the Leader" has stayed atop the tally since its creation (3 weeks ago), which marks its fourth topping week. Wisin & Yandel are not only leaders for this feat, but because they, well, Yandel has four songs charting at the same time. Even though the duo is the real act, we can't ignore the fact that Yandel is breaking a record. He's the only act that has had 4 songs charting at the same time: the number-one title, the static "Algo Me Gusta de Ti" (#04), featuring Chris Brown and T-Pain, the backtracking "No Te Detengas" (#10) and the only debut of this week, "Amor Real", where he's being featured along with Gocho.

Really? haha, well I added 2 more charts (the Regional Mexican and the Reggaeton), the others are still the same, but I won't add more charts, at least not in 2012.
By the way, Country Songs is coming.

COUNTRY SONGS
TAYLOR SWIFT GETS BACK TO COUNTRY SONGS
Never say never if you are Taylor Swift. The pop/country sensation gets back to the Country Songs chart at #17 with her latest single off her soon to be released fourth studio album titled "Red". "We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together" bows at the bottom block of the country chart, but it will most likely rocket to the top ten in the upcoming week. The debut of 'Never' was fueled by a little addition in people's countdowns and request, as well as the radio airplay bonus (which was one of the biggest bonus ever). As previously stated, Carrie Underwood's domination (as she stays at #01 for an 8th frame) could be over with the arrival of Swift.

ELECTRO SONGS
CALVIN HARRIS AND NE-YO GO TO #01
Calvin Harris and Ne-Yo finally hit the top, in their 15th week. Harris makes other two big moves on the chart, the first one is along with Florence + The Machine, as they rocket to the top ten and land at #06, being this the biggest jump of the week. The second one is along with Example, since they also crack into the top ten (14-10). Azealia Banks claims the Hot Shot Debut title with her song "Esta Noche", bowing at #17.

TOP DANCE SONGS
TURN UP THE TOP DANCE SONGS
"Turn Up the Love" by Far East Movement and Cover Drive goes up five positions. This is the third song which title starts with "Turn Up the..."; the first song ever to chart with this beginning on its title was Chris Brown's "Turn Up the Music", which peaked at no. 4 the week dated March 17 (which actually is the first week the Top Dance Songs chart was published). The second song to chart with that title is "Turn Up the Radio" by Madonna, which is still charting. 'Radio', in its 7th week, has reached the top fifteen, as it turns up 20-15. Madonna already was crowned as a Top Dance Songs queen with "Girl Gone Wild"; the song went to the penthouse on April 21. Ellie Goulding lights her way back to the pinnacle, but also debuts a second song at #39: "Anything Could Happen".

POP SONGS
NELLY FURTADO GETS HER SPIRIT ON THE CHART
Claiming the Hot Shot Debut title, Nelly Furtado bows at #38 with "Spirit Indestructible", the second single of her upcoming album (with a very similar but not equal name) Spirit Indestructible. The lead single off that album already charted and peaked at #19 on July 14 (and stayed there the following week). The other debut belongs to Taylor Swift's "We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together" (#40). But at the highest position we have a new artist too, Ellie Goulding jumps to the top, kicking off the four-weeks leader Katy Perry (1-2). This is the 4th individual chart Goulding has reached the pinnacle, so now she's in the club of acts with the most ruled charts: Gotye and Kimbra with "Somebody That I Used to Know", Rihanna with "Where Have You Been" and Wisin & Yandel featuring Jennifer López with "Follow the Leader". If Goulding gets the #01 on other individual chart, she'll become the only artist that has topped 5 different individual rankings.

TEEN SONGS
A TOP THREE FULL OF 2's
Justin Bieber and Big Sean stay at the top of Teen Songs twice in a row; but they aren't the only frozen acts on the top five this week. The second and third positions remain stationary as well, "Want U Back" by Cher Lloyd at #02 and Demi Lovato's "Give Your Heart a Break" at #03. Also, the whole top three is full with songs that have spent exactly two commanding weeks. The other song that has lived in the penthouse during 2 frames is sitting on #05: "One Thing" by One Direction. They still hold the record for most weeks at the top (eight) with their hit "What Makes You Beautiful" (which is still charting at #04).
POS | ARTIST | SONG | PEAK | WEEKS | STATS | #01 | Justin Bieber / Big Sean | As Long as You Love Me | 1 (x2) | 9 | = | #02 | Cher Lloyd | Want U Back | 1 (x2) | 5 | = | #03 | Demi Lovato | Give Your Heart a Break | 1 (x2) | 21 | = | #04 | One Direction | What Makes You Beautiful | 1 (x8) | 21 | + 1 | #05 | One Direction | One Thing | 1 (x2) | 21 | -1 | #06 | Justin Bieber | Boyfriend | 1 (x4) | 20 | = | #07 | The Wanted | Chasing the Sun | 7 | 6 | = | #08 | Conor Maynard | Vegas Girl | 8 | 4 | + 5 | #09 | Big Time Rush | Windows Down | 9 | 7 | + 2 | #10 | Ed Sheeran | The A Team | 9 | 2 | -1 | #11 | The Wanted | Glad You Came | 9 | 11 | + 1 | #12 | EME-15 | Wonderland | 10 | 8 | + 3 | #13 | Hunter Hayes | Wanted | 11 | 5 | + 3 | #14 | One Direction | More Than This | 7 | 15 | -4 | #15 | Selena Gomez & The Scene | Hit the Lights | 1 (x1) | 21 | -7 | #16 | Conor Maynard | Can't Say No | 2 | 12 | + 1 | #17 | Justin Bieber / Ludacris | All Around the World | 4 | 10 | -3 | #18 | Eiza González | Te Acordarás de Mí | 18 | 2 | = |
*Teen Songs Chart doesn't only include songs performed by teenagers; the songs tracked in this tally are the ones geared towards children/teenager's audiences (being them the principal target). Things like lyrics of the songs and age of the singer(s), are taken in consideration for chart purposes; older artists get lower points.

BALLADS & EMOTIONAL SONGS
A NEW NAME, THE SAME CHART
As some people didn't considered songs like "Payphone" by Maroon 5 and Wiz Khalifa (that spent 11 weeks at the top of the chart) or Demi Lovato's "Give Your Heart a Break" as ballads or even power ballads, the chart's name was changed to Ballads & Emotional Songs. With the new name is more reflected how emotional but not down-tempo (how people think ballads must be) songs were able to chart: Even though "Give Your Heart a Break" isn't a calm and slow song is obvious it shows a lot of feelings (which is exactly what a ballad is mostly about). But not only songs about relationships are considered as Emotional. For example, "Blown Away" by Carrie Underwood is a song about a female and her revenge towards her abusive father while using a tornado storm as a metaphor to her anger. In 'Blown' the feelings are anger and sadness, which are sung in a very emotional way.
POS | ARTIST | SONG | PEAK | WEEKS | STATS | #01 | Katy Perry | Wide Awake | 1 (x5) | 9 | = | #02 | Carrie Underwood | Blown Away | 2 | 12 | + 1 | #03 | David Guetta / Sia | Titanium | 1 (x1) | 23 | -1 | #04 | Kelly Clarkson | Dark Side | 2 | 12 | = | #05 | Coldplay / Rihanna | Princess of China | 4 | 7 | = | #06 | B.o.B. / Taylor Swift | Both of Us | 4 | 8 | = | #07 | Ed Sheeran | The A Team | 7 | 9 | + 1 | #08 | Demi Lovato | Give Your Heart a Break | 1 (x1) | 16 | Re-Entry | #09 | Imagine Dragons | It's Time | 6 | 9 | = | #10 | Gym Class Heroes / Ryan Tedder | The Fighter | 7 | 6 | -3 | #11 | Jason Mraz | I Won't Give Up | 6 | 21 | -1 | #12 | Alanis Morissette | Guardian | 11 | 2 | -1 | #13 | Maroon 5 / Wiz Khalifa | Payphone | 1 (x11) | 14 | Re-Entry | #14 | Jesse & Joy | La de La Mala Suerte | 8 | 5 | -2 | #15 | Hunter Hayes | Wanted | 15 | 4 | = | #16 | ADELE | Set Fire to the Rain | 1 (x3) | 17 | Re-Entry | #17 | Luke Bryan | Drunk on You | 10 | 4 | -4 | #18 | One Direction | More Than This | 13 | 8 | -4 | #19 | Kenny Chesney | Come Over | 17 | 3 | -1 | #20 | Alejandro Sanz | No Me Compares | 20 | 1 | DEBUT |
*Ballads & Emotional Songs Chart is compiled by tracking the week's most popular Ballads, Power-Ballads, Dance-Pop Ballads (also defined as Emotional Love Songs), etc; of any genre (In case of Indie Music, lyrics will be taken in consideration).
